Presentation

The main goal of the postgraduate program concerning the biology of infectious and parasitic agents from the Institute of Biological sciences (ICB) of the Federal University of Pará is to generate a net of human resources in what concerns the broad area of Microbiology, specifically, Bacteriology, Helminthology, Protozoology, Virology and Mycology, in order to enhance both the recently graduated students of local universities, and also those that partake in other Amazonian institutions and who are seeking for professional maturity through a traditional postgraduate program.
