A água por ser indispensável à vida configura-se como um recurso natural cujo uso deve ser objeto de análises constantes. Sendo assim, está pesquisa objetiva avaliar e propor um sistema de monitoramento integrado de gestão de águas para o Campus Universitário de Ananindeua da Universidade Federal do Pará abrangendo a qualidade da água consumida, a geração de efluentes e o corpo d’água receptor considerando os parâmetros físicos, químicos e microbiológicos nos âmbitos econômico, social e ambiental. O método utilizado nesta pesquisa engloba o levantamento documental compreendendo artigos, livros, dissertações, teses e relatórios técnicos; cotações de valores de exames junto a laboratórios de análises ambientais; consulta a banco de dados como SINAPI e SANEPAR e uso de software QGIS para confecção dos mapas. A aferição dos resultados contou com o uso da estatística descritiva a partir da contribuição de planilhas do Excel. Como resultados se obteve a construção de cenários de avaliação de custo, a partir dos quais (pessimista, realista e otimista) aponta-se que o monitoramento integrado por ano teria um custo respectivamente de: R$ 2.256.576,24 ; R$ 1.884.280,44 e R$ 1.536.274,44 e feito um comparativo considerando apenas a análise da água e verificou-se que os custos do monitoramento por metro cúbico ficariam em R$ 5,67, R$ 4,53 e R$ 3,39 sob as visões Pessimista, Realista e Otimista, enquanto que o custo por metro cubico de água mineral está em torno de R$ 250,00. Portanto, mesmo que sob a visão de maior custo, monitorar, ficaria em torno de 2% do que se gastaria apenas com água mineral. Sendo assim, ao passo que se propõe o monitoramento das águas de consumo e efluentes para o Campus, demonstra-se que há viabilidade tanto do ponto de vista econômico, social quanto ambiental.

Higher Education Institutions - IES are responsible for producing scientific knowledge in search of social improvements, have a fundamental role in the dissemination and clarification of information necessary to society through the formation of constructive thoughts and opinions. Since the time of World War II, civil construction has had relevant impacts on the environment. For many years there has been no concern with its various processes, and today it is responsible for numerous environmental damages. Sustainable Construction arises to align sustainability with civil construction, allow sustainable conditions and practices in the various phases of construction, seek new technologies capable of improving the quality of services and materials used during its execution. The present study aimed to evaluate the public works existing on the campus campus of the Federal University of Pará Sustentáveis, focused on a critical view of sustainable buildings. The methodology used is based on an exploratory case study, with a qualitative approach, through, at first, a bibliographic and documentary analysis and, secondly, with on-site visits. It also investigated how sustainable construction practices are adopted by other higher education institutions. Data collection involved a documentary survey of UFPA and observation of 08 civil works existing in the institution, divided into completed works and works in the phase of completion. The obtained results report that the researched IES uses the legal norms for the execution of its works, but does not have corresponding fixed and standardized criteria for the execution of a sustainable construction. The absence of these criteria or manual allows works projects in their planning phase not to meet essential requirements such as rainwater harvesting and energy efficiency. As a proposal it was suggested the creation of an Environmental Superintendence linked to the UFPA Senior Administration, which will be responsible for all projects related to the Environment, whether works or environmental education, for this it was also suggested the creation of a Commission. Analysis of Environmental Projects. It is important to have an analysis of the environment before designing any public building.

The changes and various types of activities of the process of teaching and learning in our country’s public schools along with the consumerism produced by capitalist industries, transformed the teaching school units in a propicious place to generation of solid residues (SR’s), bringing serious issues to society and to the Environment. The justification of the present research is to promote the correct environmental destination and the correct disposal of the solid residue generated in a public elementary school in Manaus awakening in all participants in the process a non generation, reduction, reuse, recycling, treatment of solid residues and a proper final disposal for the Environment. The methodology used in this research will be exploratory descriptive action-research using the qualitative and quantitative method in the school unit. The point is to analyze the production and direction of the SR’s, the perceptions and habits of all who directly and indirectly represents the school, identifying the solid residues in order to subsidize a management proposition aimed to minimizing production, resulting in the task of architecting sustainability in the school unit, looking for a constructive environment, having professionals with different mindsets, research, analyze and promote knowledge that protects the Environment.

The creation of the GEVS 2.0 - Virtual Environmental Health Study Group aims to raise awareness and sensitization of cardiology health professionals in the proper handling and disposal of alkaline batteries used in cardiac transvenous pacemaker generators. Objective: To develop an educational website for proper disposal of alkaline batteries used in cardiac transvenous step stretcher generators. Method: This is an integrative review that obtained a database survey (LILACS) Latin American Caribbean Science and Health Literature and (SCIELO) Scientific Electronic Library Online. Results: the research will contribute to the development of an informative virtual educational system, showing about the proper disposal of these batteries, thus ensuring information to the various nursing professionals. Conclusion: From the studies analyzed it is concluded that the idea of the website is to form a group of cardiology health professionals with the same interest in propagating the information contained in the website, and in view of this the formation of a group, where one can interact directly with research related to the heavy metals used in their respective work environments through alkaline batteries.

This study aimed to investigate the perception and profile of consumers of premium vehicles in Manaus-AM City and its impacts on sales of dealerships A, B and C. For this purpose, the principles of a qualitative research were used as methodology. and descriptive, applying 76 structured questionnaires, applied to consumers who completed the purchase of premium vehicles in one of the three dealerships located in the city of Manaus-AM. The results of the survey, regarding the consumers of Concessionaire A, it was observed that most are men up to 30 years old and complete higher education. The consumers of concessionaire B are mostly male, over 40 years of age and higher education. Dealer C consumers are mostly male and are up to 30 years old and with higher education. Customers of the three automakers value the companies' environmental practices, especially customers of automaker A, which had 100% positive affirmation regarding this indicator. Customers of automaker B (20%) said they do not value companies with known environmental practices. In the case of automaker C the percentage dropped to 10%. All customers (100%) of automaker B agree that environmentally friendly products should cost more. It can also be said that consumers of premium vehicles are not, from the survey results, overly concerned with the ideology of sustainability. The sustainability discourse is more in theory than in the practice of these consumers, although it is considered that there are signs of transformation in lifestyle and that, undoubtedly, in the medium and long term, this will reflect on how to consume products and, among them, automobiles, in the city of Manaus-AM. Thus, it is concluded that, although there is a discourse of respect and habits that do not harm the environment there are still no effective practices, because, for example, the three groups of consumers stated that they have “sometimes” consumption habits. Like most of them, when they change the car, they do not check the level of aggression / impact they have on the environment.

The amount of solid waste is a serious environmental problem, and it is necessary to take into consideration that the planet is a closed system, meaning that there is no exchange of materials with outer environment and, therefore, the waste is the result of a process of transformation of the nature. The production of waste is inevitable, from human activities waste is generated in two ways: as an inherent part of the production process and also when the useful life of products ends. There are also wastes that can be highly contaminating, such as Healthcare Waste (RSS), called ―hospital waste‖. There are several reports of occupational accident victims, especially with sharps, and contamination by pathogens such as HIV-1 may occur. It is noteworthy that it is not enough for health units to have responsible disposal plans, management of RSS and permanent education technology for the health of people and the environment. It is necessary to sensitize users and professionals to the risk of contamination by serious pathologies, including those without cure. On the issue of RSS, we open gaps to the following questions: What health professionals could contribute to addressing this problem of Public Health? Do health unit managements train their teams for environmental education and occupational accident prevention? In what way? Thus, this study aimed to disseminate in the Hospital and Emergency Room ―Dr. João Lúcio Pereira Machado‖ in Manaus (AM), educational technology for environmental health, from the production of a precursor, didactic, illustrative tool in the form of a booklet for employees and users of this hospital. We intend with this material to work collaboratively with the Center for Permanent Health Education (NEPS), helping to implement improvements in addressing the issue of waste generated in the unit, prevention of accidents with sharps to improve management and responsible disposal of waste of health services waste, and thus contribute to the Environment and Public Health.

Manaus, é a principal cidade da Amazônia ocidental brasileira. Um exemplo de zona urbana desenvolvida no meio da floresta ligada `a sua bacia de drenagem. O objetivo do trabalho foi verificar as condições químico-ambientais dos corpos hídricos, através da avaliação físico-química e bioquímica frente `a resolução 357-05 do CONAMA. Foi usada a sonda da YSI para a medida dos parâmetros e a quimiometria para a interpretação dos resultados. Os resultados mostraram que a ação do homem modificou consideravelmente o Igarapé do Mindú, nas áreas dos dez pontos de coleta podemos perceber que houve grande diferenças na temperatura, potencial de condutividade, turbidez, pH e oxigênio dissolvido. Por tudo isso pode-se dizer que o homem é considerado o principal destruidor do meio ambiente.

The Amazon Cooperation Treaty - TCA, initiated by Brazil, was signed in 1978, together with the other countries of Bolivia, Colombia, Guyana, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela, aiming to safeguard and strengthen the sovereignty of the Amazonian countries, in addition to promoting exchange of information and the harmonious development of the populations involved, with the aim of protecting the fauna, flora and natural resources and, also, aligning the policies for incorporating their territories into their national economies, supported by the triple concept: environmental , social and economic, which involved the shared management of the water resources system in the Amazon Basin, as this basin is an area of convergence between those countries. To this end, the TCA is a broad international agreement, drafted by the rules of international law, formalized among its peers with a view to intensifying the mechanisms of cooperation and easing the desires of the Member Countries in order to achieve a balance between economic growth and economic growth preservation of the environment through an integral development of the Amazon region. The interdisciplinary creates a dialogue between disciplines, excluding barriers between knowledge produced, an example is in physical education and science classes, where in the physical education teacher performs the bodily practices of movement, and the teaching of science through games can be encouraged to practice movement. The aim of this study was to value the Interdisciplinary in Physical Education classes through games and play as a tool in the process of learning in science education. The study was conducted the application of practical activities on the issues of the cardiovascular system, muscle and locomotor performed with the aid of games, being applied to 306 students, of both genders, aged 10 to 17 years. There is a relationship between the contents of Physical Education and Sciences especially in the human body thematic axis and the use of games as a teaching resource presents itself as an effective method for assimilation of content.

This research was conducted with students from a private college located in the southern region of the city of Manaus-Amazonas. In recent years environmental education has gained much importance in the world scenario and especially in the educational field involving children, adolescents, young people, their families and their communities. For this reason, the effort to strengthen teacher education and schools, as it is the initial basis for the formation and sedimentation of reason, is nothing better than enhancing it by nourishing it with values for a quality life and concern for the planet. The school space provides the exchange of experiences and human interrelationship, because it motivates, structures learning and forms consciences. The educational space that goes from elementary to higher education are fertile fields for teaching-learning, encourages the capacity for dynamic and transformative renewal provided by various formative moments that are evidenced and experienced in practice by the student. So, the great purpose of the approach was directed to the environmental education of a punctual event organized from the 2nd and other periods. To achieve this goal, two blocks of freshmen and beginners of the 1st (first) period were chosen, so unaware of this environmental campaign and the other group of students from the 2nd (second) of higher education and subsequent periods that were inserted in the environmental campaign event. Everything was planned, from the theoretical part to the action, then in the form of a joint effort and the chosen date was put into practice with the planting of tree seedlings evidenced as a place for a healthier life. The educational practice of the learner's campaign was intended to involve him in his environmental awareness, his stance with his academic community and his neighborhood; The basis of the research in the literature and the reading of articles on the theme supported the strengthening of the knowledge and reason acquired by the environmental culture. Population growth has been generating major impacts and changes in the environment. Because of these changes generated by man himself, the way of life on the planet is affected and consequences arise that influence an entire ecosystem. This study aimed to analyze the environmental parameters of the surface waters of the Tarumã-Açu Igarape stream in the city of Manaus, in view of the growing changes they have been undergoing due to the influence of man on these environments. The research was conducted at the Tarumã-Açu Igarape, located in the Tarumã neighborhood in the west of Manaus. The study took place in two sample points, described as point P1 (rural area) and point P2 (urban area). The physicochemical variables were analyzed pH, water temperature, electrical conductivity, turbidity, ammonia nitrogen, dissolved oxygen and bacteriological analyzes (total and thermotolerant coliforms). The parameters analyzed are based on the parameters of the National Environmental Council - CONAMA according to Resolution no. 274 of November 29, 2000 and Resolution no. 357 of March 17, 2005. The variables pH, ammonia, dissolved oxygen and coliform group reflect a high level of water pollution as they are located in the urban area. The pH found at approximately 6 confirms the decreased acidity of naturally acidic waters. It is well known that water pollution and contamination are related to the dumping of solid waste and domestic and industrial effluents, which damages the quality of the water resources of this microbasin, causing: the considerable increase of nutrients such as ammonia that can make Toxic water, increased electrical conductivity in a previously naturally nutrient-poor environment. It may also be responsible for the decrease in dissolved oxygen and for the high presence of total and thermotolerant coliforms. Thus, the degradation of the Igarape do Tarumã-Açu was observed and the need for continued monitoring of these waters, thus requiring management projects and measures for the protection and recovery of this basin.

Environmental education and environmental education play an important role in sustainability. Environmental education provided by educational institutions has a major impact on training and preparing the future generation for a green society. The aim of this study is to systematically review the scientific production 2009 and 2019 that emphasizes the relationship of education and environment. For this, a research was conducted in scientific databases (Scielo and Lilacs). The results show that by emphasizing the importance of environmental awareness for the development of individuals, it was emphasized that environmental subjects should take a position at all levels from elementary to higher education. However, environmental education is still incipient in Brazil, and no systematic efforts are being made to incorporate environmental concepts in any way into the school curriculum. It is concluded that it is urgent to provide the necessary training to both students in school and to people in society. It is stated that if students do not have the proper knowledge and understanding of the causes and effects of these environmental issues, it will be very difficult for them to make correct decisions in the future to reduce and control these problems.

This dissertation is a study about mathematics teaching in a contextualized way, which purpose is to present the use of mathematical exercises originated from environmental issues, as an awareness form. The analysis followed the qualitative research criteria with a bibliographic survey entitled THE TEACHING OF MATHEMATICS IN ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION SUBJECTS: LEARNING POSSIBILITIES WITH EXERCISES USAGE. The general objective was to conduct a study on mathematics teaching related to environmental education theme, using exercises connected to Environmental Education as a learning possibility. The Specific Objectives were: To elaborate mathematics exercises related to environmental education, aiming to enable students to be more aware about environmental issues. The textual structure of this dissertation has the following items: Introduction that deals with a systemic approach; Proposed theoretical foundation; Methodological procedures; Mathematics and Environmental Education and the final considerations. The proposed exercises bring the possibility to insert the teaching not only of mathematics, but also in other disciplines, especially related ones, interdisciplinarily, because in Environmental Education, the study complexity is notorious, which certainly lacks several perspectives, to conduct exercises and to provide students with environmental awareness in the teaching-learning process context.

This research discusses the structured content and fundamentals of environmental education that exists today, with relevant issues, much is discussed, for example, about Water. When receiving the autistic student at school, the teaching team needs to improve the pedagogical strategies such as: elaborating an individualized educational plan, setting clear objectives and including the school routine. Seeking to establish true bonds with love, therefore, students with ASD need reinforcers when carrying out their activities. Thus the Theory of Mind does not refer to the ability to make inferences about mental states, it is of paramount importance to understand the cognitive and behavioral aspects of students, so that they can perform an effective intervention. Another pedagogical practice that can contribute to effective learning is Universal Design for Learning (DUA) aiming to stimulate interest and motivation for learning by presenting information and content in different ways allowing the student to express what he has learned in different ways. The objective of this research is to analyze the possible perspectives of understanding of the autistic student in face of the environment in which he is inserted, using the Universal Design for Learning resource as a procedure in the observation of the learning process. The research participants were 10 students of both sexes from the Manoel Marçal de Araújo State School, located in the city of Manaus.

The relevance of this research translates itself in the growing necessity of approaching environmental education, looking forward to open the students’ eyes to their own condition, which is the condition of citizens who have consciousness about the continuity of their social and educational place as healthier place in the present and in the future. This research focused on students between thirteen and sixteen years old, that were transitioning from the eightieth to the ninth grade, at the public school of José Bentes Monteiro, which coasts are provided by the Amazon state. It is known that environmental education is a both relevant and defying, when it comes to the daily functioning of a school, however it also needs to be said that, transversally, it was possible to make the students more sensible about recognizing the existent and intrinsic relation between the citizens and the environment. The ultimate goal of this research was achieved in both senses, quantitative and qualitative, and it happened through the applicability of integrative methods for the teaching of the Portuguese language that are related to the environmental education as the common reference to the development of the activities, which occurred, at first, through the application of a “diagnose quiz” to parents or other persons that is responsible for the student, but also to the subjects of the research, in order they become able to realize the environment in which they live, considering the education of parents or people that are responsible for them reflects directly in these students’ life, such as the use of mental maps referring to the environment and the approach to the documentary “Ilha das Flores” and to the movie “Avatar”, which emphasize the environmental theme. The final method was an intervention through a didactic sticky figure album, which were given to the subjects as they gave correct answers to a Portuguese language questionnaire. The story which is told in the album is opened by a dog. The results of the research showed that, before the use of integrative methods, the students had only superficial knowledge, when they were asked about environmental education, however it was possible to realize that, during the activities and processes herein described, there was not only a general awakening about the environment, but also the strengthening and enrichening of the ability to learn Portuguese. The present study focuses on the relationship between health and the environment, focusing on the basic sanitation situation in the city of Manaus, verifying the main variables and determinants that influence the health-disease process, being water supply, sanitation facilities and collection of garbage, correlating with the occurrence of diseases related to inadequate basic sanitation and its impact on public health, as well as the incidence of diseases and diseases related to inadequate basic sanitation. It is a bibliographical and documentary research, through qualitative and quantitative methods, through the collection of electronic data from the DATASUS official databases (Information System of the Unified Health System), namely the Information System on Mortality - SIM; Notification of Injury Information System - Sinan; Hospital Information System - SIH; Outpatient Information System - SAI, IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) and SNIS (National Information System on Sanitation). The municipality of Manaus / AM was selected for the study area due to the deficiency of its sanitary infrastructure, high population growth rate, and the strong incidence of tropical diseases directly related to sanitary conditions. In this sense, the objective of the study is to verify the urban public health situation of the city of Manaus/AM, from the point of view of environmental sanitation conditions, analyzing public health expenditures, and propose solutions for the main problems, since the information obtained serves as a basis for decision-making, as it reflects the main problems that exist.

Leprosy is a disease that requires attention of the competent organs and actions of the municipal Leprosy Control Program, and consequently of the community. The endemicity of the disease in places with poor socioeconomic and cultural conditions, critical hygiene, can be a high risk for the spread of the disease when there is the presence of Hansen's bacillus. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between the epidemiological profile of leprosy patients and the social and environmental conditions in which they live, in neighborhoods close to the former leprosy colony in Manaus. This is a descriptive, analytical research with a quantitative approach, with data collected from six neighborhoods in the eastern part of the city, made up of residents of neighborhoods adjacent to the Antonio Aleixo Colony: Puraquequara, Jorge Teixeira, Armando Mendes, Sao Jose, Zumbi. from the Palmares. The socioeconomic data were taken from the 2010 IBGE Census, GINI. Disease and treatment data were extracted from leprosy reporting / investigation forms provided by the Health and Surveillance Foundation, which consisted of nine variables comprising the dimensions of sanitation, housing, education, income and social / health, detection and case occurrences. In the epidemiological evaluation, a chisquare test was used to verify the existence of an association between the variables, in this case, considering a confidence level of 95% (significance level of 5%), the test responded significantly, indicating that there is evidence that Gender is related to the type of leprosy, and the male with more cases of multibacillary type prevails. There is an inequality according to family income correlating with leprosy cases, resulting in a negative number. It shows the number of leprosy cases by neighborhood, highlighting the Jorge Teixeira neighborhood. Regression analysis (leprosy cases x distance from Colônia Antônio Aleixo neighborhood) indicates that the distance from the former leprosy colony is a major factor in the number of cases in the locality (neighborhood). There is an association between cases and having no toilet, no toilet, or sewage. There is an association between water supply, well or waste disposal. Correlations do not imply causality.

The world ide concern regarding solid waste generated by man has been the focus of intense discourse by society, especially household solid waste, as there is a growing consumption, triggering inadequate management for final disposal. Law No. 12,305 / 10 established the National Solid Waste Policy (PNRS) which provides guidelines for integrated management and solid waste management, the responsibilities of generators and public authorities, and applicable economic instruments. Selective collection is the first step for recycling, allowing the separation of materials in the generating source, avoiding their contamination and consequently their devaluation. The present work aimed to: implement the selective collection of domestic solid waste in the Laranjeiras Village condominium, with 256 apartments. The approach was qualitative, where research techniques were used: participatory actionresearch that included on-site observation with technical site visits, systematic direct observation and research in the following secondary public access bases, Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), Municipal Secretariat of Public Cleaning (SEMULSP). The reasearch information was made through direct observation by the author herself because she takes part in the team responsible for implementing the selective collection in theCondomínio Laranjeiras. To implement this program, the strategy employed was: planning phase; implementation phase; maintenance phase; implementation of the program and monitoring, wich was carried out in the residential condominium Laranjeiras Village. With preliminary diagnosis of solid waste generated by the condominium; Awareness of condominium residents; Partnership with a collaborator; Implementation and monitoring of selective collection points. Analyzes were performed through documents which the profiles of residents correspond to women under 47 years of ageand with higher education than high school and with income above 6 minimum wages. It was observed that residents could not differentiate organic waste from recyclable waste, on which the averagewas100% of thewasmaterial deposited in the common waste collectors of the condominium go to the landfill. After raising awareness with residents and children of the condominium, there was an improvement in the disposal of some recyclable materials, such as: glass, plastic, tin, cardboard. As well as Partnershipswith the association of scavengers, visits to the collection sorting shed to monitor the process and obtain data. It can be concluded that: the residents' engagement allowed the implementation of the selective collection of wet waste (Organic) and Dry waste (recyclable). Environmental education was fundamental to the success of the implementation and its objectives, as it was able to stimulate the formation of a group to carry out periodic monitoring of the collection through the actions of information dissemination, incentives and awareness, and, consequently, the generation of jobs and income for the families that collect the landfill in the city of Manaus.Keywords:Condominium. One of the objectives of Environmental Education (EE) is to train critical citizens who can fight for their rights and understand their duties, understand the importance of interpersonal relations and the preservation of the cultural and environmental environment. In a conception of transformative EE, school education is an environment of social change, where there is a transformation associated with values, cognitive patterns, democratic political action and economic relations. Although not solely responsible for this, the school prepares the new generations for the challenges of the world, as it can and should contribute to the formation and stimulation of citizen criticality and awareness of the population about social and environmental problems. Added to this is reading, which plays an important role in the formation of the subject, as it contributes to its reflective and transformative construction, since the child, when inserted in the world of reading, makes discoveries and later broadens the understanding of himself and herself. of the world around her. Thus, the objective was to produce three books (collection) of children and youth literature with Amazonian themes and environmental themes related to the region to encourage the formation of reflective students and sustainable practices. A qualitative methodology was used, with an exploratory and descriptive approach in addition to the bibliographic and documentary research that will support the elaboration and production of children's books. The reading of the works found was performed and their main results were subsequently emphasized together with the elaborated stories of the proposed collection. It is noteworthy that through the literature raised, that the truly transformative Environmental Education does not worry or prioritize the contents to be passed ("environmental"), but rather works with the construction of new ethical values, aesthetics and a conception of production. and work closer to the artistic way than the hegemonic ideas of productivity. Environmental education comes from a need to portray the environment, it brings us a new way of reading reality and how to act on it. In this way, new didactic proposals and new reflections about the world emerge. This analysis of the environment requires a firmer stance to reduce the continuous irregularities caused by human actions. In a suitable space to develop and expose this subject is the hospital institution that the various activities developed provide the generation of waste from health services (RSS), bringing serious problems to its users and the environment. The aim of this study was to carry out a bibliographic review on the theme Environmental Education in Health and its Solid Waste: An Interdisciplinary practice. The study was based on a bibliographic review, available in the literature, whose guiding question was: “What is the importance of Environmental Education in Health Units”. The studies were identified in the databases: Scientific Electronic Library (SciELO), and the Virtual Health Library(VHL). It is evident that environmental education must be part of everyday life for health professionals and be inserted interdisciplinarily. It is necessary to love and respect nature, which must be passed on to future generations. Environmental education and the correct disposal of waste from health services must have a continuous knowledge within hospital units, working interdisciplinarily across the board, so that there is a deepening in theories and concept formulations within the hospital reality. When working with the environmental theme, it is concluded that it is not just a look at human degradation, it is something that goes much further, it intends to reach an understanding of the impacts caused by human actions on the environment, which it generates new perceptions of reality, I try to change certain habits.

The motivation for this research was the thought-provoking question to analyze how students understand the environmental education related to hygiene, and their perception about it influencing health. The objective of the dissertation is to understand the nonconformities of hygiene and enable a standard operating procedure as a way to sensitize the student body about the correct maintenance and sanitation of bathrooms. The methodological procedure was characterized by a case study with qualitative and quantitative approach. The research provided a better understanding of students' assimilation into the issues of proper school toilet hygiene and how to sensitize them to keep the environment clean. Thus contributing to the health of the environment. The proposal of a standard operating procedure (pop) to the student body provided some attitude changes related to hygiene in the bathrooms. This research showed that students have some knowledge about environmental education and hygiene, are interested in the subject, however there is little approach in schools on the subject. It is important for society to promote sustainable technologies, social actions fall into this axis of environmental education and hygiene.

This research was developed to diagnose the use by students and teachers of multimedia in the classroom in the environmental context via virtual platform. General objective: Implement an integrative proposal of teaching practices in a virtual collaborative learning environment to perform interactive and innovative activities in the educational process in the environmental and specific context. Diagnose the use of multimedia by students and teachers in the environmental context via the platform. assess the possibility of working the environment in the virtual context and confirm the use of dynamic tools to build an interaction environment sharing knowledge and making teachers and students active subjects in this process and having the following context as problematic: five state schools in the midwestern city of Manaus, state of Amazonas with teachers aged 28-45 and high school students aged 14-17. Regarding the methodology we used applied bibliographical research of qualitative nature and also the deductive method performing a survey of the possibilities and limitations that computer resources can provide to education in the environmental context. The results showed that the use of multimedia via virtual platform in the classroom environment allows greater interaction of students and teachers allowing them to bring something common from their world into the classroom, because in this learning process the learning becomes more enjoyable and dynamic involving greater student participation.

Old civilizations developed a structure that allowed the transportation of sewage to areas outside the urban perimeter. The current system, known as the Collection Network of Sewage, started to appear at the beginning of the 19th century. Even though years have passed by and the evolution of the processes occurred, the lack of sanitary sewage is still an issue for developing countries. The need for sanitation grows on the rural areas and small communities of the Legal Amazon. The lack of public policies that promote sewage treatment, cause a huge impact on the health of the population and the environment. Regarding this perspective, I came up with the idea of developing a Project of a septic tank, using low cost materials with PVC tubes, that aimed to help families that live in single family domicile, with low income, and at the same time, that causes low impact on the environment and that is financially feasible on its execution.

Validating the need to formulate strategies for environmental education throughout society, as well as awareness by health professionals to adopt interdisciplinary practices with the purpose of intervention in environmental problems through environmental education.

Environmental education in public high schools provided by the Brazilian legislation, not as an isolated discipline, but in an interdisciplinary perspective is still a practice not propagated in this modality. Thus, schools need to be sensitive to this issue when organizing their Pedagogical Political Project for the insertion of environmental education in an interdisciplinary manner, in view of an ecologically balanced environment for all. Thus, the objective was to understand the importance of inserting environmental education through an interdisciplinary teaching practice in high schools in Itacoatiara - Am, so that there is applicability in the lives of students. The methodology used was descriptive bibliographic and documentary research. The research was conducted in three public high schools in the city of Itacoatiara, in which three hundred questionnaires were applied to students and twenty to teachers with closed questions to understand the perception of teachers and students about environmental education in the school context for this modality. The next phase was the analysis of the data in which it was found that environmental education has been worked in these schools, but isolated, not interdisciplinary as investigated in this study. It was also found that the percentage of students and teachers who have no interest in environmental issues is minimal. It was also evident that one of the difficulties of teachers is the lack of training in the environmental education area, which reflects the large percentage when students responded that their attitudes destroy the environment. It was also evident that schools need to create awareness tools for teachers and students within environmental education for the conservation of the environment and a better quality of life for all citizens.

The methodology used was a qualitative and descriptive approach, consisting of a case study on waste management of health services in the school clinic. As a final result of the work, a PGRSS was designed to guide all care actions in the management of SSR and to offer the school clinic a proposal for educational actions for the collaborators and academics of this health institution.

This study aimed to mobilize a proposal at the Brigadeiro Camarão School as a strategy to raise awareness of the care that everyone should take to the environment and to reduce the incidence of arboviruses. This research took place through the development of lecture on various diseases transmitted by Aedes Egypt, solid waste, environment and environmental education. In addition, a literature search was performed. Desta forma, por meio de práticas de ações educativas ambientais, o indivíduo pode se perceber como agente integrante e modificador do ambiente que integra. Considerando a realidade atual sobre a temática ambiental, esta dissertação objetivou analisar como a trilha ecológica interpretativa no Refúgio de Vida Silvestre Metrópole da Amazônia pode ser utilizada como ferramenta de educação ambiental para estudantes de nível fundamental em uma escola do município de Belém. Neste sentido, esta pesquisa pretende dimensionar a influência da realização de uma trilha ecológica interpretativa sobre a percepção ambiental de discentes do ensino fundamental. Como percurso metodológico, optou-se pela abordagem quanti-qualitativa, utilizando a aplicação de perguntas semi-estruturadas no formato de entrevistas, aplicadas e comparadas antes e depois da atividade em ecotrilhas no Refúgio de Vida Silvestre Metrópole da Amazônia, buscando comparar as diferentes percepções detectadas dos sujeitos em relação à participação nas atividades em campo.

Bacterial resistance represents a serious public health concern situation globally. Presently, 700 thousand people die every year due to bacterial resistance worldwide, and the lack of environmental care is one of the leading causes of this situation. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the level of knowledge and consciousness about environmental care and its impact in bacterial resistance in one public school in Amazonas/Brazil. Method: an exploratory descriptive study with quantitative approach was carried out with students in Angelo Ramazzotti public school located at the south-central area in Manaus/AM/Brazil, that has 14 classrooms and 1507 students. The research instrument in order to gather the information was a questionnaire with 22 questions with closed-ended questions and codified questions of multiple choices with only one possible answer. After applying the questionnaires, we observed that the students enrolled in the research were aware and had substantial knowledge about the topic of environmental care in general according to their answers to questions like “what kind of environment problem do you see in you neighborhood?” at what 48% of them said that it was garbage storage. In another question entitled “What can you do to help preserving the environment?” 39% of the students answered that they could help by avoiding throwing trash on the streets and 26% of them answered that they could help by educating other people. Nevertheless, they have shown a lack of understanding in the specific issue about the relationship between environment and bacterial resistance.

Individual and collective survival depends on learning from living and living with difference, diversity and plurality. The planet needs to be preserved and environmental education is vital in this process for preservation and sustainable development. This research aimed to study the importance of the relationship between man and nature, through an environmental education project developed in the 9 de Junho Community located in the city of Manaus. The problem explored in this paper was translated into the following question: “what is the environmental awareness level of the residents of the 9th of June community, considering the level of degradation of the stream near the community, the discarded garbage in the community and the other areas that make up the community? Regarding the methods, this investigation respected the characteristics of qualitative research, although quantitative research is also used, but the greater emphasis is directed to the qualitative approach. In addition, we also consider the characteristics of descriptive and explanatory research as to objectives. The results achieved indicated the possibility of planning educational actions and workshops, as a way to solve the problems encountered, as a way of protecting the environment where they live, as well as improving the quality of life of residents. We hope with this work to contribute to the discussions of non-formal environmental education in the community June 9 and, why not say, in communities with the same reality in the city of Manaus.

Although agriculture has been practiced by mankind for over 10,000 years, the intensive use of pesticides to control crop pests and diseases has existed for just over half a century. But it was in the last decade that the use of pesticides in Brazil has assumed the scariest proportions. Given this increase, the present study aims to analyze the use of pesticides in the rural community of Good Hope. This research is a case study with a qualitative and quantitative approach on the use of pesticides in the rural community located in the municipality of Presidente Figueiredo. For the elaboration of the research we used information provided by the Committee of the Working Group (WG) Pesticides, this information was collected through a questionnaire based on the SISSOLO system composed of open and closed questions, with a sequence of questions divided by segments. The analysis used the sample of 100 applied questionnaires aiming: to profile the sociodemographic characteristics of the researched population; identify the most commonly used pesticides by rural workers in the community; survey the characteristics of the environmental exposure of the researched area. As a result, it was found that 95% of the properties are characterized as agricultural properties. Of the most commonly used pesticides 67% are classified as extremely toxic for human exposure and 55% are classified as very hazardous to the environment. Regarding human exposure 8% of the population claim to have some symptoms confirmed by the medical field as a result of pesticide use and 38% of the population suspect to have symptoms related to pesticide use. Regarding environmental exposure: 1% of respondents say they have confirmed environmental contamination and 34% of respondents say they suspect environmental contamination. Thus, it is concluded that 79% of the properties have some type of watercourse and that these water resources are exposed to pesticides that are used in the region.

The management of solid waste has been a challenge for municipal public managers throughout the country and despite all the technological apparatus created to make life easier for those involved in the process, municipalities still have difficulty in complying with legislation. After the creation of the National Solid Waste Policy (PNRS), under the Law 12.305 / 10, the federal government set dates for these municipalities to adapt to the new reality. For the preparation of the Municipal Solid Waste Management Plan was first determined on August 2, 2012 and for deactivation of the dump was established on August 2, 2014, when these dates arrived, less than half of Brazilian municipalities closed their dumps. With this, the Federal Senate created new dates for the closure of its dumps in a staggered manner starting in 2019 by the capitals, border municipalities and population over 100 thousand inhabitants. Cities with populations between 50 and 100,000 have until July 31, 2020 to address this issue. The smaller municipalities, with less than 50 thousand inhabitants, must comply with the law by July 31, 2021. The two municipalities studied by this work are inserted in to end in 2019 to 2021 because they are cities of border but have a population of less than 50,000 people. Thus, the main objective of this work was to analyze the economic and technical feasibility of an inter-municipal solid waste consortium between the municipalities of Benjamin Constant and Atalaia do Norte. We can also put as secondary objectives the diagnosis of residues of these sites and create a matrix with these diagnostic problems seeking consortium solutions. As methodology we had the collection of data “in loco” and extensive study of official documents and scientific articles. Geoprocessing tools were also used to create streets in both cities and to verify the best points for the landfill placement. It took two years to complete the study, so this study was conducted from 2017 to 2019. Finally it was possible to verify that the two municipalities would not be able to implement and operate landfills individually, being the consortium the best way to solve the problems of collection and disposal.

O presente estudo foi desenvolvido na Cidade Universitária Prof. José da Silveira Netto, sede da Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA), Belém-Pa., no sentido de avaliar a situação atual de regularidade quanto à Outorga de Direito de Uso dos Recursos Hídricos junto ao órgão gestor, Secretaria de Meio Ambiente e Sustentabilidade (SEMAS/PA). O objetivo da pesquisa é propor os procedimentos necessários para a implementação de um projeto de outorga para gerenciamento ambiental da água de abastecimento da cidade universitária José da Silveira Netto com base na Instrução Normativa nº 3 de 26/03/2014 da SEMAS/PA, sendo discorrido no corpo do trabalho sobre a Gestão de Recursos Hídricos e seus aspectos legais, Política Nacional e Estadual de Recursos Hídricos, seus instrumentos e se já foram implementados no Estado do Pará, com ênfase na outorga de direito de uso dos recursos hídricos, aspectos legais, infrações e penalidades. A metodologia foi realizada por meio de pesquisa qualitativa, quantitativa e de campo, fundamentada em fonte documental e bibliográfica, visitas técnicas aos órgãos competentes (SEMAS/PA, CPRM, FEMAC e PREFEITURA DA UFPA) e coleta de dados disponibilizados nos sites acima. De acordo com os dados levantados sobre as condições atuais do poço, foi constatado que o mesmo não se encontra totalmente adequado para dar entrada na solicitação de outorga de uso dos recursos hídricos, por não estar atendendo as exigências padrões perante o órgão ambiental, tendo em vista problemas de ordens técnicas e saneamentos, assim como também deverá ser feito o procedimento de tamponamento dos poços inoperantes existentes, com o objetivo de restabelecer as condições originais do aquífero e evitar contaminação através do poço. Diante do que fora identificado, foi proposto um modelo de outorga de direito de uso dos recursos hídricos da Cidade Universitária José da Silveira Netto e a fim de suprir essa exigência, urgiu-se a necessidade de sugerir ao administrador máximo da Instituição, de modo a legalizar tais situações desconformes, a nomeação de uma equipe multidisciplinar, preferencialmente com a presença de um profissional da área de geologia, para atuarem solucionando as irregularidades atuais em que o poço se encontra, em virtude de estar em risco à segurança do poço para finalmente entrar com processo de regularização, a fim de atender a legislação vigente, bem como todas as condicionantes técnicas propostas pelo órgão ambiental responsável.

No serviço público civil federal, até o final da década dos anos de 1980, as ações de promoção da saúde e segurança do trabalho para os servidores públicos estatutários eram baseadas em legislações gerais e, em alguns casos, orientavam-se pelas mesmas regulamentações de todos os trabalhadores brasileiros. Em 2010, após a implementação de legislações especificas, foi instituída a Portaria Normativa nº 3/SRH/MPOG, de 7 de maio de 2010. Desde, então, no âmbito dos órgãos e entidades da Administração Pública Federal surge um novo desafio de como planejar ações de promoção e vigilância aos ambientes de trabalho. O estudo teve como objetivo avaliar ações realizadas pelo setor de Segurança no Trabalho da Universidade Federal do Pará a partir das legislações vigentes. Para tanto, foi realizado um estudo de caso, exploratório e descritivo, com abordagem qualiquantitativa adotando o seguinte caminho metodológico: inicialmente procedeu-se um levantamento bibliográfico e documental. Em seguida, a visita in loco ao setor responsável na UFPA para a coleta de dados referentes às ações de promoção e vigilância nos ambientes de trabalho. E, por fim, procedeu-se a análise dos dados. Os resultados mostraram que o setor vem realizando ações de vigilância nos ambientes de trabalho, mas com algumas dificuldades. Em relação ao tema observa-se que apesar das dificuldades as ações na área de Segurança no Trabalho vêm buscando seguir as legislações vigentes.

Nunca o número de pessoas no mundo foi tão grande e o consumo sem consciência ambiental tão acelerado; e a equação desta somatória deixa como resultado problemas ambientais que são enfrentados, principalmente, pelas grandes cidades, como surgimento de lixões a céu aberto. A situação do descarte de resíduos tornou-se algo mais complexo e preocupante, pois antes o lixo era constituído apenas de material orgânico, e agora ele tem características diversas: pode ser eletrônico, radioativo, industrial, químico, entre outros. Na contramão deste panorama, diversos atores que preocupados com essas consequências negativas para meio ambiente buscam atuar em frentes de ações pró-ambientais em locais como os lixões. A Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos (PNRS), normatizada pela Lei nº 12.305/2010 e regulamentada pelo Decreto nº 7.404/2010, instituiu diversas incumbências aos gestores públicos, dentre elas a de inserir os catadores de resíduos sólidos nesse processo. Uma das principais ações é a chamada reciclagem, que assumiu um papel importante diante de tal realidade chamados antigos lixões. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar a importância da ação de reciclagem como fonte de melhoria para meio ambiente e de renda para catadores do antigo “lixão” do Aurá, localizado no município de -Pará/Brasil, área metropolitana de Belém. Para compreender melhor o fenômeno foi realizado um estudo de caso, adotando o seguinte caminho metodológico: inicialmente procedeu-se um levantamento bibliográfico e documental acerca do tema e objeto de pesquisa. Em seguida, a visita técnca in loco para a realização de uma observação sistemática, visando conhecer melhor a realidade do ambiente em estudo. Procedeu-se finalmente a análise dos dados coletados da observação. Os resultados mostraram que o lixão foi desativado pelo poder municipal e transferido para o aterro sanitário no município de Marituba e que os projetos de reciclagem desenvolvidos pela prefeitura de Belém, com os catadores foram abandonados, assim como a infraestrutura montada existentes. Foi constatado, que parte das pessoas que viviam no em torno estão desempregadas, considerando que aquela atividade era a única renda familiar. Em relação ao tema percebe-se o descaso do poder municipal, ao não possibilitar uma forma de aproveitamento de força de trabalho já capacitada pelo próprio município de Belém.

The Amazon has a plant and floristic diversity with a vast ecological and economic potential. Inside this diversity, a highlight is the jackfruit (Jaca), Artocarpus heterophyllus. Jackfruit is a fruit widely grown in Brazil for human consumption. In this context, the present study aims to make use of the “Artocarpus heterophyllus” jackfruit seed for the production of biscuits, minimizing the possible environmental impacts caused by the disposal of this residue. The methodology of the work was the production of cookies with the flour of jackfruit seed, in the proportions of 10%, 25% and 50%; as well as evaluation of the acceptance level of the cookie by the population, and the bromatological and microbiological characteristics of the food. The results preferably show that the 25% jackfruit flour formulation was preferred by the tasters. However, formulations with 10% and 50% had a General Index (AI) greater than 70%, which also guarantees good acceptability. The cookies presented good acceptability for color, texture, odor and taste; as well as microbiological quality within the standards required by legislation. It is concluded that cookies made with jackfruit flour are presented as a product with high nutritional and marketing potential.

No intuito de propor gestão sustentável aos recursos hídricos na Universidade Federal do Pará, campus Belém, este trabalho mesurou o potencial de água de chuva para o abastecimento humano de benefício secundário nos setores Básico, Profissional, Esportivo e Saúde. Assim foram coletados as normais climatológicas no período de 33 anos e aferidas 213 áreas de telhados das edificações na autarquia, a fim de computar o volume médio de água de chuva para presumir o percentual de economia em função do consumo anual de água. Desta maneira, os dados receberam a modelagem estatística em ANOVA e correlação linear em replicatas, seguidos do testes Fisher e Tukey, para quantificar a relevância das principais variáveis no potencial pluviométrico. Conclui-se que a UFPA pode economizar 100% ao utilizar tecnologias de captação pluviométrica e receber incentivos para progredir sustentavelmente se adotar os critérios estabelecidos na Agenda Ambiental na Administração Pública (A3P).

Nas últimas décadas, o debate sobre o tema resíduos sólidos tem ganhado destaque. A preocupação com as questões ambientais faz da gestão dos resíduos um processo extremamente importante para a preservação ambiental, saneamento básico, saúde publica e qualidade de vida. Em vista a assegurar que as Instituições Públicas atuem em consonância com a nova consciência ambiental, a fim de implementar o desenvolvimento sustentável e a responsabilidade ambiental, faz-se necessário a utilização de um instrumento de controle sobre as atividades humanas que interferem no meio ambiente. Esse estudo teve como objetivo analisar de que forma a auditoria ambiental contribui para a melhoria das boas práticas na gestão dos resíduos de serviço de saúde. Para tanto, foram adotados múltiplos métodos com a predominância do estudo de caso, a pesquisa de caráter exploratório e empírico-descritivo, posto que a avaliação implica na observação, no registro e na análise. A coleta de dados deu-se mediante a realização de visitas, entrevista, registro fotográfico e revisão bibliográfica e documental. A pesquisa foi realizada no Hospital Universitário Bettina Ferro de Souza - HUBFS, destinado ao Ensino, Assistência e Pesquisa como formação integral de graduação e pós-graduação de profissionais da área de saúde. A análise dos dados foi realizada através da confrontação da realidade encontrada com a legislação. Como principal resultado, o estudo identificou, por meio da aplicação das técnicas de auditoria, conformidades e não conformidades. Conclui-se que a auditoria ambiental é um instrumento técnico para o controle e monitoramentos na gestão estratégica, suprindo e subsidiando os gestores de informações essenciais para uma gestão comprometida com a eficiência e eficácia para um melhor atendimento das demandas sociais, que contribui para a melhoria continua do gerenciamento dos resíduos de serviço de saúde.

A presente pesquisa foi desenvolvida com os servidores da Pró-Reitoria de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação da Universidade Federal do Pará, na cidade de Belém, estado do Pará, classificando-se como exploratória e descritiva com um estudo de caso. A partir de levantamento bibliográfica e documental foi aplicado um questionário estruturado contendo perguntas fechadas e abertas, cujo objetivo foi analisar a percepção ambiental e as práticas ambientais dos servidores, visto que para a promoção da Educação Ambiental, em determinado grupo, é necessário levar em consideração as percepções que os envolvidos têm sobre Meio Ambiente. Os resultados da pesquisa mostraram o quanto é relevante os estudos da percepção ambiental para a promoção efetiva de educação ambiental. Este estudo permitiu, a partir dos resultados, produzir um Relatório Técnico com o diagnóstico obtido, com o intuito de auxiliar a administração da unidade na promoção de ações efetivas, levando em consideração suas percepções sobre o MA. Este estudo poderá constituir-se em um importante passo para uma educação ambiental mais eficaz aos servidores, afim de torná-los agentes multiplicadores de ações voltadas para a preservação do meio ambiente.

Este trabalho mensurou o consumo de água e energia da UFPA no período de 2017 a 2018, a fim de prontificar um planejamento norteador em práticas sustentáveis visando o adequamento à A3P, assim, por meio de testes paramétricos foram analisadas e concatenados os principais fatores que corroboram a gestão pública dos recursos hídricos e energéticos. E, por fim, sugeriu-se uma ferramenta, o checklist de gestão de recursos hídricos, para a possível implementação da A3P. Abstract: This work mensurou the water consumption and energy of the UFPA in the period of 2017 2018, in order to prontificar a norteador planning in practical sustainable aiming at the adequamento to the A3P, thus, by means of parametric tests had been the 2018 analyzed and concatenated the main factors that corroborate the public administration of the hídricos and energy resources. E, finally, suggested a tool, checklist of management of hídricos resources, for the possible implementation of the A3P.

A Universidade Federal do Pará criada em 1957, inserida na região Amazônica, margeada e cortada por rios, foi instalada em 450 hectares de área de várzea. Sua implantação deu-se à custa de severa perda da cobertura vegetal de grande parte da área a ela designada, resultando em grandes transformações no ecossistema da região. Esse estudo investiga os impactos causados pelo projeto Trote Ecológico implantado no campus da UFPA, em Belém, no período de 1990 a 1997. Tal projeto teve como principal objetivo contribuir com o desenvolvimento de uma consciência preservacionista e de pertencimento nos alunos ingressantes da instituição, bem como em toda a comunidade acadêmica, com o compromisso pedagógico de reflorestar e recuperar os solos das áreas do campus sede da UFPA sofridas com supressão vegetal, e, em um contexto propício à reflexão sobre preservação do meio ambiente, contribuir com essas ideias na formação dos desses alunos. O projeto agregava também a ideia de tornar mais humana e menos agressiva o ingresso dos alunos na Universidade, de encontro aos trotes acadêmicos abusivos, comumente aplicados no país. A pesquisa é fundamentada na memória documentada ou percebida dos idealizadores e implementadores do projeto e pelos servidores que vivenciaram o cotidiano das transformações ocorridas a partir da aplicação do trote. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram entrevistados em duas etapas distintas: na primeira etapa foram entrevistados, por meio de um formulário semiestruturado, os implementadores do Trote Ecológico que fizeram parte da equipe organizativa; na segunda etapa foram entrevistados, por meio de formulário misto, servidores que vivenciaram o Trote Ecológico. A terceira etapa utilizou-se imagens aéreas de satélite da área de estudo para verificação da evolução arbórea na paisagem, após a aplicação do Trote Ecológico. Os resultados desse estudo evidenciaram que o Trote Ecológico cumpriu o seu objetivo, demostrado pelo acréscimo de áreas adensadas, principalmente nos bosques e nas margens do Igarapé Tucunduba, que limita o setor Básico do Profissional, mesmo com a ocorrência de perdas pontuais de arborizações advindas da necessidade de expansão da UFPA. Foi evidenciado também que o Trote Ecológico tornou-se um marco orientador para ações subsequentes relacionadas ao meio ambiente, espraiando-se para além dos muros da instituição. Hoje, além da preservação do legado arbóreo do Trote Ecológico, a Instituição continua a atuar com outras ações socioambientais e conscientização cidadã junto aos calouros, porém sem esquecer o plantio e replantio de novas espécies, inclusive as de jardins, disponibilizando à comunidade acadêmica vasto manancial de objetos para pesquisa em todas as áreas do conhecimento e oportunizando às futuras gerações uma reflexão contínua, no sentido de escrever uma história mais harmônica com a natureza e a cadeia da vida.

Os seres que compõe a natureza precisam estarem em harmonia, para juntos manterem o equilíbrio do planeta. A educação ambiental é um instrumento que proporciona uma melhor compreensão da natureza como um todo, e não em partes fragmentadas, contribuindo para o reequilíbrio ambiental. Diante dos problemas ambientais causados pelo homem, faz-se necessário lançar mão de ações-ecológicas que em alguns locais já se fazem presentes e surtem efeitos significativos para a preservação e conservação ambiental. Dentre essas ações há as que são voltadas para a coleta e reciclagem do óleo comestível residual, e as que incentivam a construção de hortas pedagógicas. Essas ações foram desenvolvidas em uma Ecoescola, que oferece o ensino infantil a crianças de 2 a 5 anos de idade. Com o objetivo de promover a Educação Ambiental através de duas ações ecológicas, junto a uma Ecoescola. Metodologicamente, as ações-ecológicas foram planejadas e realizadas da seguinte maneira: aplicação de formulários investigativos e palestra ambiental, para informar e sensibilizar os participantes sobre o descarte do óleo comestível residual; produção do sabão ecológico com a finalidade de mostrar o uso desse resíduo na produção de novos produtos e incentivar a coleta seletiva para esse tipo de resíduo e aplicação de questionário avaliativo sobre a atividade realizada; atividade “Plantando a Sementinha, na intenção de incentivar o consumo de hortaliças e aproveitar os espaços oferecidos na Ecoescola para o plantio. Participaram das ações ecológicas, 48 adultos, entre funcionários da Ecoescola e responsáveis dos discentes, e 201 alunos. Os resultados obtidos através dos formulários aplicados aos funcionários, e responsáveis dos alunos, demonstram que aquela comunidade é afetada pelos problemas ambientais existente na área onde residem, onde 52% dizem ser o “lixo” o problema ambiental na área onde reside, enquanto 84% responderam que os problemas ambientais existentes na área onde residem, afetam sua vida ou seu ramo de atividade. Sobre a avaliação da palestra e oficina do sabão ecológico, 84% responderam que foi ótima, enquanto 16% disseram ter sido boa. Para as professoras, um dos pontos positivos em relação a atividade “Plantando a Sementinha”, diz respeito ao ter contribuído para a percepção das crianças em relação a importância da alimentação saudável. Enquanto, os pontos negativos dizem respeito aos animais terem comido as plantinhas que germinaram. A semente da responsabilidade e cuidado com o meio ambiente foi plantada em cada um dos participantes através das ações, seja a que foi desenvolvida com os adultos, ou com as crianças. Espera-se assim, que essas experiências fortaleçam a Ecoescola, e que nesse novo ano, possa ser elaborado o plano político pedagógico, e novas ações-ecológicas possam surgir através de parcerias entre instituições, e serem desenvolvidas com uma maior participação da comunidade escolar, já que foi de interesse da pesquisa agregar valores acerca das ações-ecológicas que podem ser melhoradas ou ampliadas na Ecoescola através da Educação Ambiental, pois, a Educação Ambiental contribui para a sensibilização ambiental do planeta.

A crise socioambiental enfrentada pela sociedade moderna aponta para a necessidade permanente de se pensar alternativas para o desenvolvimento da vida em sociedade. A gestão participativa tem se apresentado como alternativa na área da administração pública, na qual participação dos servidores na produção do bem comum é uma prerrogativa dos processos de participação deliberativa. A pesquisa busca compreender a concepção de gestão participativa no contexto universitário, a fim de investigar a real participação dos servidores técnicos administrativos e gestores na tomada das decisões no ambiente educacional, além de abordara aplicabilidade do processo de educação ambiental e a gestão participativa dentro do Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Naturais da Universidade Federal do Pará. A discussão problematizou a educação ambiental em novas bases teórico-metodológicas, como instrumento de mediação de conflitos no processo participativo, tendo as unidades administrativas e acadêmicas como espaços para tal mediação. Foi elaborado um questionário com 28 questões abertas e fechadas, com base a Instrução Normativa 10/2012. Responderam a pesquisa os servidores técnicos administrativos em educação e os docentes gestores, todos exercendo suas atividades no Instituto de Ciência Exatas e Naturais da Universidade Federal do Pará. Utilizou-se o questionário como instrumento de coleta e os dados foram submetidos à análise de conteúdo. Os resultados serviram para traçar um perfil metodológico e a divulgação das estratégias e atividades de educação ambiental no processo de gestão ambiental participativa adotada no ICEN/UFPA. A análise dos dados indicou que a ideia de usar a educação ambiental como uma ferramenta de interdisciplinaridade aliada à prática participativa, operacionalizou a priori aspectos da abordagem teórica da gestão de recursos humanos no ICEN/UFPA.

O gerenciamento de resíduos em universidades é complexo e exige um esforço sistêmico e integrado de toda a comunidade acadêmica. A UFPA, em particular, o Instituto de Ciências Biológicas, tem um papel importante na formação de futuros profissionais, como também, disseminar uma nova mentalidade entre os servidores, em relação aos resíduos gerados, priorizando enfoques, a partir da abordagem educacional, para que estejam engajados e comprometidos com o gerenciamento ambiental, numa reflexão consciente da necessidade harmônica entre as atividades humanas e o ambiente. O Instituto, além de cumprir com o seu papel, no contexto em que está inserido, que é o de ensino, pesquisa e de serviço, tem que servir de exemplo, a partir de suas práticas de gerenciamento ambiental, minimizando, assim, os impactos decorrentes de suas atividades diárias, contribuindo para a conscientização da sociedade. Nas Universidades Públicas ou Privadas, o volume de resíduos gerados geralmente é muito pequeno, porém, a diversidade de resíduos é grande, o que dificulta o tratamento dos mesmos. Os resíduos gerados no ICB necessitam a priori de procedimentos e métodos confiáveis de manejo para a sua passivação e/ou disposição final, já que requerem um descarte distinto daquele dado ao lixo doméstico, enfatizado que as diferentes áreas laboratoriais, onde haja atividades com produtos químicos, biológicos ou infecto-contagiosos, devem ser diagnosticados os fatores de riscos e as ações de seguranças, conforme estabelecidos na legislação vigente, evitando danos à comunidade universitária e ao ambiente. O trabalho se classificou como pesquisa descritiva e empírica, por meio do estudo de caso, utilizando-se da aplicação de um questionário, dirigidos aos servidores dos laboratórios,com o objetivo de analisar como os resíduos são gerenciados. Observou-se a falta de atenção, desconhecimento em relação as normas legais e deficiências de informações técnicas disponíveis para os RSS. Conclui-se, portanto, que o ICB carece desenvolver umaeducação ambiental eficiente, como ferramenta de ação, para que possa implantar um PGRSS, possibilitando maior segurança aos atos da administração.

The aim of this work was to conduct a physical-chemical evaluation of effluents collected in an effluent treatment plant, by batch sequence reactors (BSR) from a soft drink industry located in the Metropolitan Region of Belém. The collections were quarterly at two points so named: P01 - Raw effluent and P02 - Treated effluent. It was monitored the physicochemical parameters: pH, temperature, electrical conductivity (EC), dissolved oxygen (DO), turbidity, chemical oxygen demand (COD), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), phosphate, N-nitrate, N- nitrite, N-ammonia, N-total, true color, apparent color, oils and greases, total solids (TS), total dissolved solids (TDS), suspended solids (STS), alkalinity and sedimented solids. The results were treated in specific groups in bar graphs and dispersions, whose concentrations and removal efficiencies were compared with literature and with 430/2011 resolution CONAMA, as well as analyzed by descriptive statistics and correlation matrix with P02 data. The treatment of the effluent showed to be more effective in the rainy season, presenting a reduction in pollutant removal efficiency in the following months, reaching unsatisfactory averages as TS (35.33%), SDT (41.31%), STS (17%), Turbidity (50.53%), Apparent Color (62.67%), True Color (87.22%), Oils and Greases (94.78%), BOD (28.20%), COD (50,53%) and N-nitrite (28.15%). The N-total, N-nitrite, P-total and phosphate parameters presented mean values of 10,492 gL-1, 13,050 gL-1, 0,119 gL-1 and 0,365 gL-1, respectively, with concentrations in treated effluents below in the biological treatment of RSB, concluding the evaluation of the physicochemical parameters in the ETP as necessary treatment, however ineffective in its purpose.

The disorderly population growth associated with accelerated urban expansion has led to a progressive reduction of environmental quality in water ecosystems. The Igarapé do Coroado is one of the most important water bodies in the urban area of the city of Manaus - AM, being a channel that receives both rainwater and sewage, without treatment, directly reflecting the quality of the water that is discharged in the Igarapé do Mindu. This work aimed to know, through the physico-chemical and microbiological analysis, some parameters of water quality and environmental impacts in a Igarapé located in the capital of the state of Amazonas. The samples were collected at 05 specific points, greater urban oncentration, in two periods that corresponded to smaller and greater activity in the neighborhood. Physicochemical Parameters were used: BOD; COD; Ammonia Nitrogen; Nitrite; Nitrate; pH; Color; Dissolved Solids; Total solids; Solid Fixed; Sedimented Solids; Suspended Solids; Volatile Solids and Turbidity. The heavy metals were: Lead; Aluminum; Cadmium and in the microbiological part were the Thermotolerant Coliforms. From the research, it was possible to correlate the results obtained with the anthropogenic activities visualized at the time of collection, evidencing and confirming that the increase of the housing nuclei surrounding the body of water causes environmental degradation, a strong threat to the health of the local population and of the biota. It was found that according to the current norms, the analyzed water ecosystem is contaminated by presenting values above the physical, chemical and microbiological standards and conditions, by the resolution of CONAMA Nº 357 of 2005, allowing the appearance of diseases characteristic of water ecosystems impacted, in addition to affecting the local biota

This research was developed in five municipal schools in the city of Humaitá, Amazonas, Brazil, with teachers from the first five years of primary school and proposing an attention in schools of rural communities, in order to discuss continuous education of teachers in rural communities on the environmental theme and its relevance to teaching work. This research intends to evaluate the importance of continuous education related to the environmental theme for the practice of teacher activities in the classroom. As for the materials and methods, we used bibliographic research, field research and also the completion of an observation questionnaire made by the researcher, analyzing how teachers work the environmental education in class and finally the application of a questionnaire addressing on the importance of environmental education in the school environment, including an universe of forty elementary school teachers. As to the results of this research that we statistically analyzed and discussed in detail, it was noticed the teacher´s difficulty in working in practical classroom activities related to environmental themes, in which the lack of continuous education appropriate to these professionals in rural areas can represent one of the main daily problems of infrastructure that the community finds. It was understood that if there were formations being made in a continuous way and with quality would be directed to a teaching practice on environmental themes with more references

The present work entitled "Dengue: The importance of compulsory notification, relating health and environmental education in the municipality of Iranduba-AM in the period from 2010 to 2017". Any suspected or confirmed case of Dengue, epidemiological surveillance should be communicated, so that necessary measures to combat the vector, follow-up of the epidemic curve, and control evaluation will occur. The collection and flow of data are important, since they allow an epidemiological investigation and an annual composition of the diseases. Given the current and relevant issue for health professionals and society in general, the present study had as a research question: In the municipality of Iranduba and the cases of dengue, what is the importance of Compulsory Notification relating Health and Environmental Education? Therefore, it was aimed to analyze the reports of dengue reported to SINAN, by the municipality of Iranduba-AM in the period 2010-2017, in order to contribute with health professionals. To do so, we performed this work, through data collection, sought to ascertain, the most suitable scope for this proposal, considering the problem of general and specified research. It is an exploratory and bibliographical research, on the subject, encompassing documents and laws, besides the key themes composed in the theoretical reference, seek to know other works already published, developed in this field of research for the theoretical basis on the subject. Using data from the Aging and Notification Information System (SINAN), with authorization from the Municipal Epidemiological Surveillance Office and information elated to compulsory notification. For this work a literary survey was carried out on the topics: health, environmental education, compulsory notification, health surveillance and dengue, including its vector, cycle and epidemiology.

Identifying water quality and verifying its vulnerability to human activity is of paramount importance to public health. In view of the need to conserve water resources, it is necessary to analyze the hydrographic basin and the management of water resources without losing sight of the quality of life of the population that favors these waters. This work is a case study, in which the exploratory research was aimed at evaluating the quality of the Trombetas river in the stretch comprised of the city of Oriximiná/PA and its relation with the polluting sources at the study site. The Trombetas River belongs to the Lower Amazon region in the state of Pará and travels 760 km in length through the municipalities of Faro, Óbidos, Holy Land and Oriximiná and flows into the left bank of the Amazon. The municipality of Oriximiná is located in the State of Pará in the northern region of the country. With about 71 thousand inhabitants, located on the left bank of the river Trombetas. The collections were carried out on the Trombetas River, upstream and downstream from the municipality of Oriximiná / Pará. The parameters measured were: Temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen (OD), Turbidity, Color, Biochemical Oxygen Demand-BOD, Aluminum, Total solids, Total phosphorus and total Nitrogen, total coliforms and E. coli. There were changes in pH, phosphorus, color and EC are more relevant at the point in front of the port and municipal slaughterhouse, which reveals a strong association between organic waste dumping and changes in water quality at the site, not observed in the amount of the city. The IQA of the monitored section indicates a water of GOOD quality, with a tendency towards AVERAGE in front of the city.

The acoustic question in the industrial environment is a relevant issue because 20% of the world population is directly and daily exposed to noise. Industrial noise control strategies should aim to reduce existing noise to acceptable levels in the work environment. Noise is currently a major cause of occupational health and safety problems in industries around the world, because of this problem, the authorities have established limits of exposure to noise in work environments, especially in industries. Not only for the worker, but also for the companies, the excessive noise causes damages. The noise generated by the industrial activity can represent a decrease in the production since employees exposed to harmful levels of noise can contract illnesses and, consequently, be removed from the work. This research will present the technical activities developed in a metallurgical company in the stamping sector, which refers to the technical study for environmental comfort and the collaborator in the stamping sector, where a diagnosis was made and intervention proposals were made for the machinery and for the environment. Including the general characteristics that have been described according to the company available knowledge, through the visits, carried out until the beginning of the second fortnight of June 2018, and studies / surveys conducted in the field. In addition to a theoretical reference for the study, it was sought to present information regarding the ranges of values of the measurements to be processed, to perform risk mapping and estimate of noise reduction. From this study, proposals for intervention in the environment of the stamping sector of a Metallurgical Industry in the city of Manaus were generated.

The Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTP) transforms raw water into drinking water for human consumption through unit operations and conventional coagulation,flocculation, decantation, filtration and disinfection methods. During this purification process a residue with solid characteristics is generated. This by-product, which comes from the addition of chemical substances, is called sludge, and has degraded self-power, with possibilities of negative impacts that, if released in nature in the environment, cause serious damages to the soil and aquatic life. In the search for solutions capable of minimizing the environmental impacts from waste water treatment plant (WWTP) and reduce costs related to the final destination of the waste generated, the present work aims to evaluate the potential use of WWTP sludge by incorporating clay slurry to the production of bricks, in order to present an alternative environmentally correct destination for this waste. Sludge and clay underwent chemical and mineralogical characterization, through granulometric distribution, X-ray fluorescence analysis, X-ray diffraction. The samples were homogenized in the proportions of 0%, 12%, 14% and 18% of sludge in red clay, pressed at 25 MPa, and later production of test specimens which were then burned to a temperature of 900ºC. After sintering, physical and mechanical tests were performed to evaluate the quality of the final product, by means of analysis of the properties of fire loss, linear retraction, water absorption, apparent specific mass, apparent porosity, flexural rupture stress, moisture and plasticity. The results of the laboratory tests with the residue proportions incorporated in the clay mass demonstrate influence on the physical and mechanical properties of the ceramic material. The results presented show a similarity to that recommended and that despite the 18% (sludge) samples, in relation to the clay showed a variation in the chemical composition due to its high organic matter content, it was observed that both had SiO2, Al2O3 and Fe2O3. Comparing the results with the parameters established in NBR 15270-1, 2 and 3/2005, it was verified that the WWTP sludge can be incorporated in up to 18% in the clay mass for the manufacture of bricks.

The present work entitled "The interface between the teaching of the Portuguese Language and the work with Environmental Education in the Almirante Tamandaré Indigenous State School" was developed in this school in the indigenous community of Umariaçu II, located in the rural area of Tabatinga-AM, in the Triple Border Brazil, Colombia and Peru. It is known that the disciplines traditionally taught by schools such as Mathematics, Portuguese Language, Science, History and Geography are very important for everyone to obtain knowledge, but there are also subjects directly related to the exercise of citizenship and these themes, we highlight Environmental Education. In view of this current and relevant theme for society in general, the present study had as a research question: How can we articulate the teaching of the Portuguese Language and the work with Environmental Education in the Almirante Tamandaré Indigenous State School? In this context, there are possibilities to work on environmental themes with different textual genres, such as music, news, films, reports, interviews, cartoons, educational campaigns etc. In addition to being able to work with theaters, gymnastics, painels, posters and drawings with texts about the environment, focused on the local reality, produced by the students and guided by the teachers. Thus, the objective was to present proposals for articulation between Portuguese language teaching and work with Environmental Education in this school. For this purpose, this work was accomplished through an Action Research and in order to reach the proposed objectives, qualitative and reflexive research was chosen for this study. The instruments used for the data collection were the semi-structured interviews with the application of questionnaires with open and closed questions to the public chosen for this research that were the Portuguese Language teachers and students of Elementary and Middle School of the school in question. The participant observation technique was used in school to achieve the goals of this work. From the activities developed during this study, a book was produced with texts focused on environmental issues and consistent with the reality of the community surveyed.

This research had the objective of analyzing the interdisciplinary pedagogical practice of the professors of Sciences of the High School, in the School of Integral Prof. Eng. Sérgio Alfredo Pessoa Figueiredo in the city of Manaus. Specifically, it sought to gather theoretical-practical-methodological data used in the teaching of science learning process, analyzing interdisciplinary as a teaching practice, detailing the environmental management process, as well as environmental education policies and educational actions that contribute to the formation of citizens aware of the preservation of the environment, to know the interdisciplinary practices of the teachers focused on the use of the Ducke Reserve's natural space in the science classes and to identify the level of environmental perception of the students, in relation to the contents taught in classroom, related to conservation and protection of the environment. Environmental education is related to the preservation of the environment and the sustainable development and interdisciplinary practice of teachers can contribute to this process. The study was developed from descriptive, exploratory bibliographical research, with a qualitative-quantitative approach through the case study, through which it was possible to observe the curricular activities developed by the teachers, through the application of questionnaires for 181 students, 13 teachers and the school manager. Regarding the results achieved, it can be observed that 52.5% of the students are interested in environmental issues, and 79% of the students heard about the environment was in school, but it was identified that 44.2% of the students did not were to visit the Museum of the Amazon, located in the reserve. However, teachers 'pedagogical and interdisciplinary practices have a direct influence on the students' environmental perception, bringing about changes in pedagogical practices and the formation of citizens aware of the importance and conservation of the environment.

A geração de resíduos medicamentosos é uma preocupação atual na gestão da segurança ambiental, frente a negligencia de políticas públicas somado ao desconhecimento dos danos ambientais do descarte de medicamentos ou seus resíduos sem um tratamento adequado que a população não sabe ao descartar em lixos domésticos ou em esgotos. Com o avançar da tecnologia na produção de medicamentos, também há a preocupação da dificuldade de biodegradabilidade das embalagens e toxicidade ou dano ambiental mais intenso, como no caso de resíduos hormonais e antimicrobianos, onde a mesma evolução não ocorreu nas definições de responsabilidades da logística reversa por parte das indústrias farmacêuticas, distribuidoras e farmácias comunitárias. O descarte inadequado gera bactérias mais resistentes, altera a biologia aquática de mananciais e peixes como disfunção reprodutiva e até potencial dano à saúde humana com o consumo de animais contaminados ao longo de anos com resíduos medicamentosos. Um bom plano de gerenciamento de resíduos oriundos de serviços de saúde é fundamental para um meio ambiente saudável para as futuras gerações. Neste contexto, o objetivo deste trabalho foi o acompanhamento e esclarecimento de acordo com aspectos regulatórios vigentes, sobre os processos ambientalmente seguros da destinação correta de resíduos medicamentosos e possíveis reaproveitamentos em processo de reciclagem como o fuller que pode ser incorporado a massa asfáltica obtido em processo de incineração ambientalmente seguro. A metodologia deste trabalho foi através de uma pesquisa qualitativa de natureza aplicada, descritiva através de revisão bibliográfica e pesquisa de campo, descrevendo o procedimentos da cadeia envolvida na gestão de resíduos medicamentosos e seu respectivo destino ambientalmente seguro por uma usina de incineração na cidade de Manaus/AM. Como resultado, foi observado um processo ambientalmente seguro, sem geração de resíduos dispersos no ar durante o processo de incineração quando devidamente veiculado em meio aquoso e posteriormente filtrado para obtenção de um resíduo utilizado que pode ser usado na produção de massa asfáltica, sendo assim desnecessário o aterro dos resíduos. Mas também foi constatado que a forma de gestão de documentos podem ser melhoradas para um bom processo de rastreabilidade pois houve a detecção da possibilidade de desvios de produtos ou inclusão de produtos de forma inverídica por parte da empresa geradora do resíduo medicamentoso, principalmente os medicamentos ficando difícil a rastreabilidade se não houver formas de controle na conferência por parte da empresa incineradora promovendo assim uma eficiente etapa da ECOFARMACOVIGILÂNCIA.

With the production of garbage on a large scale, the collectors of household garbage, besides the physical effort, experience situations of bad weather, poor packaging of the products in the garbage, causing several cuts and perforations in these workers. Thus, this case study carried out with household waste collectors from a private company, which operates in the Municipality of Itacoatiara, aimed to investigate the risk and safety conditions of these workers, seeking to show the living conditions of the household waste collectors and the risks of exercising that profession. To present it, we started with a brief bibliographical review, discussing the importance of this activity and the daily risks that expose the people who practice this profession. A questionnaire was used as field methodology, which consisted of the identification of the subject and questions that guided the interpretation of the data obtained in this research. The results indicated that household waste collectors are exposed to numerous risks of occupational accidents and diseases.

Ainda que representem 98,5% do total de empresas no Brasil, gerem mais da metade dos empregos no país; no Estado do Pará, mais de 90% dos empreendimentos e gerem 40% dos empregos na indústria, 68% no comércio e 43% nos serviços no Estado, são escassos os estudos que abordem a temática ambiental no contexto das micro e pequenas empresas (MPEs). Visando ampliar o debate acerca desta temática, este estudo objetiva conhecer como tem se estabelecido a gestão ambiental em micro e pequenas empresas amazônicas, mais especificamente na Região Metropolitana de Belém. Para isso uma pesquisa tipo survey usando a Escala de Likert foi realizada. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que as práticas ecologicamente corretas mais adotadas pelas empresas da região são as que visam redução de custos pela redução do uso de recursos naturais, como água e luz; e o cumprimento da legislação ambiental como forma de evitar multas e embargo das atividades pelos órgãos fiscalizadores; os principais fatores que fazem ou fariam as empresas adotarem boas práticas estão, também, relacionadas a questões econômicas, dentre os quais: Exigência do mercado consumidor, redução de custos, não pagamentos de multas ambientais; etc. Enquanto que entre as principais barreiras encontradas para a adoção são: A falta de incentivo financeiro ou governamental, o alto custo de implantação das práticas e a falta de interesse ou cobrança por parte dos consumidores.

Nos ambientes de saúde a ausências de informações acercados RSS pode inviabilizar a gestão e o gerenciamento dos serviços de saúde de realizar a avaliação e controle domanejo desses materiais. Nesse sentido, objetiva-se realizar um estudo de revisão bibliográfica para analisar o gerenciamento dos RSS a partir das legislações pertinentes para reduzir os riscose os impactosocupacionais, aos usuários e ao meio ambiente. Realizou-se uma abordagem qualitativa eanáliseexploratória das informações, em 21artigospesquisados nas bases de dados:Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System On-Line (MEDLINE), com descritores: gerenciamento dos serviços de saúde; resíduos dos serviços desaúde; resíduos hospitalares; saúde e meio ambiente.Observou-se um pequeno crescimento no número de publicações no períodoentre 2014 e 2018.Conclui-se,que o gerenciamento e o manejo dos RSS nas Instituições de saúde públicas ou privadas, apresentam algumas deficiências, o que potencializa o riscoà saúde pública e à natureza, sendo necessário, além do cumprimento das determinações legais, o investimento na Educação Ambiental(EA)comoferramenta de gestão para aprendizagem e conhecimento acerca domanejo adequado dos RSS, na construção e implantação de políticas para uma gestão adequadaeoferecer a educação permanente para gestores e colaboradores internos e externos, por meio de palestras, oficinase outrosrecursos promotores de práticas sustentáveis e da qualidade sanitária e ambiental no planeta.

Este estudo é resultado de uma pesquisa realizada no período de 2017 a 2019, que teve como objetivo investigar conhecimentos, habilidades e práticas de ambientalização nos processos de curricularização e formativo do curso de Engenharia Mecânica do campus Universitário de Tucuruí da Universidade Federal do Pará. Desse modo, o trabalho pretendeu refletir sobre a importância da ambientalização nos processos de curricularização para a efetivação de um processo formativo sistêmico. Para tanto, foi realizado uma pesquisa de campo com a implementação de estudo de caso com aplicações dos seguintes instrumentos de coletas de dados: consulta documental em resoluções e Projeto Pedagógico do curso; questionários aos discentes e docentes e entrevista semiestruturada ao diretor da faculdade. Para análise dos dados, foi utilizado o método de triangulação de dados, uma vez que foi aplicado diversos mecanismos de sistematização e análise de dados. A pesquisa apresentou como resultados as dificuldades de interdisciplinarização do currículo e sua aplicação quanto a implementação de conteúdos e conhecimentos ambientais; avanços em projetos de extensão referentes a conhecimentos e habilidades de ambientalização quanto ao envolvimento discente; diciossiabilidade de produção do tripé formativo ensino, pesquisa e extensão; estratégias pontuais em detrimento de instrumentos pedagógicos estruturais e organizativos de currículo quanto aspectos conceitual e atitudinal de ambientalização e interdisciplinaridade. Concluiu-se que a ambientalização é fundamental para que se tenha o desenvolvimento de um processo educativo sistêmico. Neste sentido, o curso sinaliza interesse e ações na implementação da discussão ambiental. Porém possui inúmeras dificuldades a serem superadas para que se consolide o seu potencial de efetivação de uma formação sistêmica socioambiental.

Este estudo teve por objetivo promover a compreensão do processo de execução da Educação Ambiental (AE) no Curso de Engenharia Civil da Universidade Federal do Pará - Campus de Tucuruí, visando analisar e refletir a pertinência curricular com a legislação vigente, a interação entre teoria e prática no contexto acadêmico da EA, bem como a forma de como se dá o processo didático e metodológico referente à AE no referido curso. Para este fim, utilizou- se de uma pesquisa de campo complementado pelo estudo de caso, além de consulta bibliográfica e documental promovendo assim uma pesquisa exploratória de abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa. Com os resultados da pesquisa foi possível constatar que o currículo do curso atende de modo parcial as diretrizes da legislação vigente que abordam as políticas e diretrizes da Educação Ambiental, pois apesar de abordar os objetivos e referenciais enfatizado por essas diretrizes, enfatiza de modo superficial a questão da Inter e transdisciplinaridade que são consideradas essências dentro de uma área considerada transversal; No que diz respeito interação entre teoria e prática há uma longa distância entre o que se enfatiza nos documentos oficiais como: Projeto pedagógico do curso - PPC e Plano de desenvolvimento da instituição - PDI e o que se realiza de fato, sobre tudo referente as práticas de sustentabilidade que são consideradas mínimas no contexto institucional, e quanto a prática docente, esta constatada em sua maioria como tradicionalista e desestimulante, carente de melhoramentos didáticos e metodológicos, como foi apontado pela maioria dos pesquisados, enquanto que o PPC do curso e o Regulamento da graduação apontam para um prática docente progressista: dinâmica e inovadora. Com esta pesquisa concluiu-se que o processo de execução da AE é complexo e que envolve uma série de fatores como: currículo consistente, professores bem preparados e consistência entre teoria e prática, que devem funcionar em harmonia para que possa de fato alcançar seus objetivos e cumprir de fato sua finalidade, em prol do desenvolvimento sustentável.

O presente estudo objetiva abordar a educação ambiental e compreender a percepção dos servidores da Pró-Reitoria de Desenvolvimento e Gestão de Pessoal (PROGEP) da Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA), visando a sustentabilidade socioambiental no ambiente de trabalho. A investigação fundamenta-se em uma sondagem bibliográfica, documental e de campo, classificando-se como exploratória e descritiva, mediante um estudo de caso. O seu lócus é a PROGEP abrangendo 91 servidores técnico-administrativos que atuam na Cidade Universitária José da Silveira Netto, Guamá e no Programa de Assistência Psicossocial ao Servidor (PAPS), no Instituto de Ciências da Saúde, Umarizal, ambos em Belém. Utilizou-se, como instrumento de coleta de dados, um questionário com 28 questões fechadas, com base na Instrução Normativa nº 10/2012 e em 4 eixos temáticos da Agenda Ambiental na Administração Pública (A3P): Uso Racional dos Recursos Naturais e Bens Públicos, Gestão de Resíduos Gerados, Qualidade de Vida no Ambiente de Trabalho e Sensibilização e Capacitação dos Servidores. Os resultados demonstram, de um modo geral, um equilíbrio entre boas e más práticas socioambientais, não atingindo, em cada uma, metade do total das respostas. Os resultados positivos mais significativos encontram-se no eixo temático Uso Racional dos Recursos Naturais e Bens Públicos. Os resultados negativos mais relevantes apresentam-se nos demais eixos temáticos, sendo o mais crítico, Sensibilização e Capacitação de Servidores. Tanto o Plano de Gestão de Logística Sustentável (PLS) 2018 como o Plano de Ações de Capacitação (PAC) 2018 da Instituição não estabelecem ações de capacitação e sensibilização pela PROGEP, para promoção e incentivo às práticas de sustentabilidade socioambiental visando a aquisição de competências ambientais no âmbito do trabalho, o que justifica o resultado negativo referente ao eixo temático Sensibilização e Capacitação de Servidores. Essa ausência vai de encontro ao objetivo estratégico da UFPA de promover a responsabilidade socioambiental e ao seu princípio de preservação do meio ambiente e aos princípios da PROGEP como Qualidade de Vida e Responsabilidade Socioambiental. Propõe-se a inserção no PAC de algumas ações e eventos de aprendizagem, da responsabilidade socioambiental nos valores da PROGEP e de competências ambientais na avaliação de desempenho dos servidores técnico-administrativos.
