The Master in Sustainable Architecture and Acoustic Performance aims first to meet a specific demand from the regional market, deepening and completing knowledge, skills and competencies for the technical-academic and professional training of architects, designers or professionals in related areas.
Through the proposed structure, students will be able to deepen the knowledge acquired during graduation, absorb theoretical knowledge and practical experience from teachers and lecturers, in addition to keeping them updated on technological innovations and requirements of Sustainable Architecture and the fundamental bases for Acoustic Performance in built spaces.
Therefore, this specialization is committed to ensuring the training of specialist professionals, capable of understanding and translating the needs of individuals, social groups and the community, in relation to the design, organization and construction of space aiming to protect the balance of the natural environment and the use rational use of natural resources for sustainable construction and the acoustic performance of built spaces.
The content of each module or seminar was designed to guarantee hierarchical uniformity of knowledge, so that theoretical concepts and practice are studied concomitantly, with the gradual introduction of specific themes and, thus, being able to synthesize them in the form of integrated knowledge. This order of presentation corresponds to the modular sequence of the course, when the student is exposed to a fully integrated field of specific lines of knowledge about Sustainable Architecture and Acoustic Performance in the building and in the city, always focusing on the peculiarities of the Brazilian Amazon.
